Dagno app + connected device — coming soon
Dagno is developing a connected diagnostic device and mobile app that turn available commercial truck data into clear, practical information.
Understand fault codes, review vehicle readings, and get a clearer picture of what to discuss with your technician—all in one place.
Built for owner-operators, fleet owners, company owners, truck owners, and mechanics.
Dagno is in development. Final features and vehicle compatibility will be confirmed through hardware selection and field testing.
The problem
Dagno's goal is to bring clarity to those questions—not replace professional diagnosis, but help you approach it better informed.
What is Dagno?
Dagno is being designed to combine a vehicle-connected device, a mobile app, and diagnostic knowledge informed by diesel experience.
The device collects supported vehicle information. Dagno organizes that information into understandable explanations, alerts, history, and recommended next steps.
Whether you own one truck or manage a fleet, the goal is the same: understand your equipment and make better-informed maintenance decisions.
How it works
Plug the Dagno device into a supported truck's diagnostic connection using the appropriate connector or adapter.
Create your account, register the device, and assign it to your truck's VIN.
The selected hardware will collect supported fault codes and operating readings. Our target design uses Bluetooth for setup and nearby access, with cellular connectivity for remote data transmission.
Dagno translates available diagnostic information into plain-language explanations, severity indicators, and recommended checks.
Review your vehicle history and prepare a clear summary to discuss with a qualified repair professional.
Connectivity, available readings, and installation requirements will depend on the final device and supported vehicle.
Planned features
Understand available truck fault codes without having to interpret technical identifiers alone.
Review supported measurements such as engine speed, coolant temperature, battery voltage, and other available operating data.
See which recorded conditions may require prompt attention, further inspection, or continued monitoring.
Receive notifications about supported faults and measurements that meet defined alert conditions.
Review practical inspection suggestions based on the reported condition and verified diagnostic rules.
Bring a clearer account of recorded faults, symptoms, and relevant history to your technician.
Keep vehicle-specific records to help identify recurring issues and provide context during maintenance.
Our prototype goal includes understandable diagnostic guidance in English and Spanish.
Check whether the device is connected and when vehicle information was last received.
Our fleet roadmap brings multiple subscribed trucks into one account, helping owners and managers review vehicle information together.
These are planned capabilities, not a guarantee of launch coverage. Exact features will be published after testing.
Who Dagno is for
Understand what your truck is reporting and approach maintenance conversations with clearer information.
Review information across supported vehicles and help your team identify trucks that need attention.
Build a better record of equipment conditions and support informed maintenance planning.
Learn more about your vehicle, track reported issues, and understand the information behind warning lights.
Use captured fault information and vehicle history as additional context for professional inspection and testing.
Dagno is for people who want to understand their equipment—not only those with a technical background.
The connected device
We are evaluating hardware partners and prototype devices to find the right fit for Dagno. Our testing priorities include:
We will announce the production device, connector options, supported vehicles, and pricing after validation.
Dagno's planned monitoring model assigns each device to one active VIN.
A fleet monitoring multiple trucks will need a device for each monitored vehicle. All subscribed vehicles can be organized under a fleet account as that capability becomes available.
Controlled reassignment is planned when an owner sells or replaces a truck.
App coming soon
The Dagno app is being designed to bring supported diagnostics, alerts, readings, and vehicle history into a clear mobile experience.
Our development roadmap
Select and test sample devices, connect them to a basic backend, and demonstrate accurate fault capture and a usable app experience.
Test with participating truck owners, verify diagnostic explanations, document vehicle coverage, and improve reliability.
Finalize supported hardware, pricing, onboarding, customer support, security, and subscription management.
Develop fleet tools, richer maintenance insights, and advanced analysis based on validated operating data.
Predictive models, advanced health scoring, and vehicle-specific controls—including DPF regeneration—belong to the longer-term roadmap. They are not guaranteed launch features and will require separate technical, safety, and vehicle-compatibility validation.
About Dagno
Dagno was founded by Anderson and Oswaldo "Ozzie" through OzTech LLC.
The vision grew from firsthand experience with trucks, diagnostics, and the uncertainty owners face when equipment develops a problem.
We believe truck owners should have a clearer understanding of what their equipment reports before making repair decisions.
Our goal is to combine connected technology with practical diesel knowledge—making diagnostic information easier to understand while respecting the role of qualified technicians.
Help the people who depend on trucks understand their equipment and make informed maintenance decisions.
Pricing
Dagno is being developed around a connected device and recurring software service. Final hardware pricing, subscription options, cellular-service terms, and fleet plans will be announced after supplier selection and field testing.
We are not accepting product orders at this stage.
